I know I posted yesterday, but I couldn’t help myself – I’m back today with the next part of my OC Photo Challenge. I wrote a little bit about the challenge itself in the last post, so if you haven’t, you might want to read about it. I already had a lot of fun with the first three entries but for this one, I have to tell you – I truly got out of hand and had absolutely insane amounts of fun with both making sets and editing. So, let’s get to it!
#4 – As a Child
I admit, I didn’t look forward to doing this one too much, because I generally don’t do much with children in my game, but once I got started, I went a little crazy with building a nice set and editing and well… you can see the result here.
I know, nothing in the challenge said to include a parent but come on? How could I resist a cute daddy-daughter photo? 🙂
#5 – As a Teenager
These photos actually surprised me. At first I considered doing a cute teen room, but in the end I just sort of played around with grass, plants, and old ruins and ended up with what you see here.
Since we’ve already seen teenage Gina in part one and three, I imagined where these photos would fit in the grand scheme of things. I imagine these photos would be from before she met Enzo and before the whole mess with Doriano. It’s a simpler, sweet, more innocent version of her. Well, as innocent as Gina can be! Because I enjoyed the set so much, I picked out a few extra pictures from it.
#6 – With Their Best Friend
Okay, real talk: ts3 has actively been fighting me for several days. That’s why it took me a while to get the pictures you see below. I tried making an awesome citry street set which I thought would suit Lotta and Gina well, but this was apparently a cursed idea. I had crash after crash and it’s honestly kind of unusual. I know ts3 is a dumpster fire, but I’ve never actually had as many issues as some players do. Well, guess this was the game trying to even the score or something. Anyway, I decided I had better do something else, so I tore down the set… and the game crashed even while I was tearing it down. Like I said: Cursed. After I made an entirely new save, I ended up with the pictures below and honestly, I do think it’s for the better.
For these, I went light on the editing. I tried going a little stronger with some effects for it, but in the end it just seemed like a shame. All I did was lighten them up, add a little glow and adjust the lighting in some of them. The set was inspired by a chain of Danish coffee shops. They have this sort of industrial look with raw wood and metal fittings but also lots of green plants and faux fur throws. I love it so much! And because I also fell in love with this set, have a few more pics from it:
Thank You For Looking!
I hope you enjoyed checking out what I spend waaaay too much time on lately, lol. 🙂 This is seriously addictive fun and I hope it’s a least a little fun to be looking at them as well. I hope everyone’s having a good Sunday and I’ll be seeing you guys in the next post.
