Hi guys!
I hope you’re ready for more photo spam because… well, I’ve got some photos to spam. This one wasn’t a challenge, really. I was inspired to do it by an Instagram artist challenge #5colorswithflowers, because hey, I like flowers. I was initially going to do the same flowers as the challenge, but since ts3 is what it is, I decided to go with the flowers that I could find. And of course I did seven sets instead of five.
You’ll notice that these are completely Gina-free – shock and awe. Instead, I chose some of my other characters and let them shine. Soooo, here we go – my little series of photos of characters and flowers. 🙂
1. Carlo and Roses
I picked roses for Carlo, since he’s into red (as seen from his interior decorating) and because he’s a romantic at heart. His setting is a greenhouse as well, since he’s not much of a nature guy.
2. Rosalia and Lilacs
Right as I posted these, I realised that Rosalia literally has roses in her name, but since I’d already decided Carlo was my rose guy, I picked lilacs for Lia. To be fair, I think they suit her much better. She usually only wears black and white, but I can imagine her wearing purple.
3. Marta and Sunflowers
I picked sunflowers for Marta because she usually wears yellow and because I see her as kind of a sunny, optimistic person despite everything she’s been through.
4. Vittoria and Lily of the Valley
Once I remembered that lily of the valley is seriously poisonous, I realised there was only one character they could fit with.
5. Flora and Tulips
Tulips and sunflowers are my favourite flowers. Tulips, to me, are beautiful in a very simple, uncomplicated kind of way – like Flora. So that’s my reasoning here, as cheesy as I make it sound.
Enzo and Lavender
For Enzo I wanted to do a shoot where he get to be a more relaxed version of himself, so I didn’t want a flower that’s too associated with gardens or house plants. I let him have a little stroll through a lavender field instead.
7. Carlotta and Lilies
I actually intended for this last shoot to be with Gina, but once I realised that the nicest lilies I had for the game were pink, of course I had to go with Lotta. I decided to go with a night shoot, because, much like her best friend and boss, she operates at night. Also I hadn’t done other night pictures so far. 😉 These pictures were actually kind of terrible before editing, but it’s amazing what some lighting effects and particle overlays can do!

I hope you enjoyed this peek at what I’ve been doing with my time instead of studying. (I’m kidding – I have studied, but I could maybe have done more, woops). If you’re on Tumblr you may have noticed me doing these, but here they are as a collection. I know, however, that the blog isn’t ideal for these big pics, so if you like, you can have a look on my Tumblr. I’m thinking of getting some sort of photo shoot gallery or a separate blog with a more photo friendly theme, but that’ll have to wait until after my exam.
So, I’ll leave this off here and, ya know, study. I hope everyone’s having a great time and I’ll see you in the next post.

Oh my god this is amazing!! <3 <3 You have no idea how long I've been staring at those wonderful pictures! I think my favorite ones are Rosalia and Enzo's – the two purple themed siblings, lol! <3 <3 Although I have to say that every single picture was extremely beautiful in its own way!
I also adore both flowers and themed photoshoots, so you know I definitely intend to steal this idea, right? :p <3

Thank you soooo much, Sempreviva. <3 You're too kind. 😀 I actually agree - I think Lia and Enzo's turned out the best. 🙂 I'm pleased with the lighting in both. 🙂 And yeah, purple for both of them - even though I normally have blue for Enzo, ha, ha. :')
Ooooh, please do! I'd love to see something like it from you. 😀 I love these kinds of themed shoots as well. In a way it's inspiring to me to have some sort of guideline, as strange as it sounds. 🙂

Ok then, I will ^_^ <3 – it might be a little later down the line, as gen 3 will introduce a wide array of young adults and I intend to include most of them 😉

Oh wow these are beyond lovely, Louise! Like sempreviva, I took my time admiring them all, haha. On behalf of Carlo stans, I thank you for the eye candy 😍😍😍 I also am a huge fan of sunflowers so I adored Marta’s photos the most. I still haven’t finished catching up, so I’m curious as to whether Enzo’s facial hair is an in-story development or not. Either way, he looks 🔥🔥🔥 I’m surprised there’s no Gina, but seeing how well Lotta looks with the pink and the lilies makes me think that was a good call. If there are any naturally occurring teal flowers, that’s what I’d envision Gina by, hehe. Thanks for sharing these! ❤️ They are so beautiful they could be wallpapers or something. I may or may not swipe this idea down the line~ 😇

I think I can safely say that he hasn't yet let his beard grow out, but I'm glad you enjoy his relaxed look - I think it suits him so well. <3
I thought Gina had been in enough shoots at this point, really. 😛 And yeah, Lotta and Lilies seemed like the way to go. I don't even know which flowers I'd pair Gina with if I were to do one for her. 😛

For each picture, I went ‘wow, this is my favorite’! They all vehicle different sensations and emotions, fitting really well with your characters.Personnally I have to prefer Rosalie – I’m a lilac and peony person in RL 🙂 The most intense is Carlo with the roses… Might I ask you where you got the lilacs?

I really think you’ve succeeded with the lighting on all the pictures – in the sunflower one you can feel the heat, and the lavender one is filled with evening warmth and the sound of cikadas, and where the lilies of the valley grow, the grass almost feel wet! So your lighting, and set-up are perfect!
