Hi folksies! 😀

Don’t be scared – the Tagpocalypse of February hasn’t happened again. I think we all agree that was really fun, but hard. No, this time is just a single tag. I was tagged for the OC Tag once more by Freja64 of The Grey Witches. Now, I shamefully admit that I haven’t read Freja’s stuff but it looks like there’s enough to check out – so binging could happen in the future! Until then, go check out their stuff. It looks super cool 🙂
I won’t tag anyone myself this time, though if you haven’t been tagged and you’re super sad – TAG, you’re it! Otherwise, just lean back and enjoy this post.

Now, as you might have seen from the title, I’ve decided that this time I want to do Marta. Another shameful fact i have to admit is that apart from my mains, my side characters aren’t super well developed. Marta is one of the better, though, so let’s give her a chance to answer!

Without further ado – here we go!

page divider

  1. What is your name? Marta Zini. Except when people are mad at me, then I’m called MARTA ZINI!!! My name gets bigger sometimes.
  2. Do you know why you were named that?  Daddy says it’s because it’s the best name in the world.
  3. Single or taken? I’m single, silly. I’m only eleven!
  4. Stop being a Mary Sue! What do you mean? I’m not called Mary!
  5. What’s your eye color? Green like a leaf.
  6. How about hair color? Brown like mud.
  7. Have you any family members? Um, no. Well, maybe Carlo and Vittoria. Though they’re not really my family but they take care of me. I used to have Daddy and he’s not alive anymore, so I don’t think I have any family now.
  8. Oh, how about pets? No, but I’d love to have a doggy. I love dogs!
  9. That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like? This mean lady called Lucia. She used to make me call her mummy, but I don’t have to say that anymore, so now I just call her dummy.
  10. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do? Daddy and I used to bake together and we climbed trees and drew pictures. I haven’t done it in a long time because Lucia wouldn’t let me. Maybe Carlo will let me do that again soon.
  11. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before? I once kicked Lucia and she got super mad.
  12. Ever… killed anyone before? Don’t think so. Killing is bad.
  13. What kind of animal are you? A sloth, he, he!
  14. Name your worst weaknesses. Um, I’m not very good at playing football?
  15. Do you look up to anyone at all? Yeah, everyone. Because I’m pretty small. Well, except maybe other kids because they’re sometimes smaller than me.
  16. Are you straight, gay or bisexual? Um, I don’t know. I don’t really like kissing anyone. It’s gross.
  17. Do you go to school?  Nope. I used to when I lived with Daddy but Lucia wouldn’t let me go. I’ll probably have to go to school again soon, maybe.
  18. Ever want to marry and have kids one day? Uh, no? I think you have to do a lot of kissing for all of that and I don’t think so!
  19. Do you have fangirls/fanboys? No.
  20. What are you most afraid of? I don’t like thunderstorms. They’re scary. I’m scared of Lucia as well.
  21. What do you usually wear? Just some nice clothes. Most of my clothes are old, though, because I didn’t get new ones for four years. I’d like to have some new ones but I don’t have any money so I can’t go shopping.
  22. What’s one food that tempts you? I love candy and pizza!
  23. Am I annoying you? Uh, no?
  24. Well, it’s not over! Okay. This is fun.
  25. What class are you (low class, middle class, high class)? What do you mean?
  26. How many friends do you have? I don’t have so many. Daddy was my friend if that’s okay. And there’re are Carlo and Vittoria. They have two babies and they’re cool enough I guess, so maybe we could be friends, too, even though Gina eats everything. Giulio drools, too. They’re not as fun to play with as older kids but I guess they’re still my friends. I used to have more friends when I went to school but maybe they forgot me.
  27. What are your thoughts on pie? Um, it’s delicious, d’uh!
  28. Favorite drink? I really like soda!
  29. What’s your favorite place? The playground at my old school. I like my room at Daddy’s house, too. Maybe I can go back there soon.
  30. Are you interested in anyone? No! That’s icky!
  31. That was a stupid question. A little bit maybe, but it’s okay.
  32. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean? I like going to the beach and swimming so probably that!
  33. What’s your type? Ew, I don’t have one. I don’t want a boyfriend.
  34. Any fetishes? Um… what’s that. I think I heard it’s something with a foot and that’s disgusting. No thanks.
  35. Camping or indoors? Ooh, I like camping! I used to do it with Daddy and one time with school where we roasted marshmallows. It’s better than being in a basement so I’d rather go camping.

There we are 😀 That was a fun little thing to do. Sorry if no kid would ever talk like that – I don’t have kids myself and my youngest sibling is turning 18, so I don’t have any references! Regardless, Mara is super fun to write. She might look fairly different in this picture from what she looks like in the story because in-story her hair is dyed black right now and this is her natural hair colour – or that is, her natural colour from now on because I couldn’t stand looking at the ugly green she had when she was adopted. This is how she’ll look in the future 🙂

Anyway, another thank you to Freja64 for the tag – and I hope you all enjoyed reading that as well as I did writing it. I will see you in the next post 😀

Cheers!

“…I think I heard it’s something with a foot and that’s disgusting…” I heard the same thing around that age! LOL 😀 I loved her answers. Makes me wish I was that age again.

I love Freja64. <3 You'll enjoy your binge there. 😀

    NotJustaBook · March 19, 2018 at 7:01 pm

Ha, ha, I really enjoyed writing her – that age is sort of between being aware and not and it’s really hard to portray, but so much fun 😀
Thank you for your kind words <3
It looks super interesting – I can't wait to dig in 🙂

      RosemaryMarie · March 19, 2018 at 7:02 pm

I remember around that age my grandma talking to me about being an “in between.” lol You know, when you’re too old for dolls and too young for boys. 😛

Thanks, Rosemarymarie! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it so far! 🙂

She’s lovely and adorable. I especially like the bit about calling Lucia a dummy. And it’s good to see this tag again, it is a lot of fun. And I loved taggy February, I played a huge role there, lol.

    NotJustaBook · March 19, 2018 at 7:03 pm

If ever anyone deserved to be called a dummy, it’s Lucia, ha, ha 😀
I had a lot of fun with it myself. I think I’m going to use it for some characters for the next gen before I write – to get a feel for them. It really helped with Marta here 🙂
Taggy February WAS pretty great to be fair – and yeah, you played the role of tagging everyone, lol 😀 it was awesome <3

I love your answers, they were pretty accurate for an eleven year old! Her fear of Lucia is endearing, I hope she’ll get a happier life from now on… Sometimes it’s fun to write about kids too. I’ve spent a few months now, writing and cleaning out the first part of my blog, digging deeper into Taïga who goes from 7 to 11 in the first part! So you’re welcome to have a peek whenever you get a few moments to read! 🙂

    NotJustaBook · March 20, 2018 at 6:01 pm

Thank you 😀 I’m glad it’s not that far off – it’s been so long since I last spent time with a child that age 😛
I’m generally not one who writes kids a lot, though this was fun so might change that 🙂
I’ll be looking forward to checking your stuff out once I have the time 😀 Thank you again for the tag and for the kind words! 🙂

Marta is so funny and cute, hehe. Is it bad that I totally agree with her opinion on romantic things? 😂
I got tagged too, though I’m wondering who to do for it…

    NotJustaBook · March 20, 2018 at 6:02 pm

Marta is really fun to write <3 But no – nothing wrong with that 🙂 I'm a romantic sap, but it's totally okay to not be into it.
I saw your tag – I was going to suggest Lillith, so I'm glad you did her 😀

sempreviva · March 20, 2018 at 5:23 pm

Marta is the sweetest! <3 I loved reading her answers (I especially laughed at the "sloth" part, lol)!
I look forward to reading about her again! 😀

    NotJustaBook · March 20, 2018 at 6:03 pm

Marta was surprisingly fun to write and easy to come up with stuff for. Guess Vittoria will always have the honour of being the most difficult character I’ve written, ha, ha 😀
Thank you for your nice words 😀 <3

[…] And of course, this isn’t the first time Marta does this – see what she said as a kid here. As opposed to the others, this one doesn’t contain spoilers! So, let’s get going […]
