Hi guys!

I’m checking in with a little pose dump and isn’t that just appropriate? It being Valentine’s day and all! So if you’ve been looking for some height-adjusted, slightly finicky, and illogically named poses of lurve, you’re in the right place (and a little weird). This dump consists of various poses I’ve made for Gina and Enzo and as is always the case when I make a lot of poses, I’ll probably only end up using half in the actual story. At least you guys can benefit from them, though.

That said: These poses are extremely finicky. This is not a drill. If you get easily frustrated fiddling with OMSP resizers and adjusting with the alt-key and using creative camera angles to get around issues, these may not be for you. That’s also why this is a posedump and not a proper pack. They are very flawed. Anyway, let’s have a look!

Height-Adjustment

This set consists of 18 height-adjusted poses for your sims couple. I use OMSP resizers to make the female sim in these the right height. You may be able to use height-sliders instead, but I make no promises that it’ll look even halfway decent.

I suggest using these resizers by Buckley. For all of these, I’ve stuck my female sim on a 90% resizer.

A quick note: For many of these, you’ll find that your female sim’s feet sink into the ground. Do not despair! Pop her on the resizer and raise it until her feet are once again on solid ground and everything will be fine Because these are funky, the height you need to set your OMSP to varies, but usually it’s around 7-9 cms.

A few things can mess with the results of this:

• Height-sliders, obviously.
• Body-sliders, at least if you hate yourself use shoulder/hip sliders like me.

• The poses only in non-listed format.
• A note with the pose codes and descriptions.
• A note on height-adjustment.
• The .clip files in a folder so you can edit the poses.
• Preview images with codes.

How They Look

“But Louise,” I hear you say, “why aren’t the ones above called maleA and maleB?” Told you it was illogical and I’m too lazy to change it.

“Um, Louise…” No. “But I can’t help but notice that elsewhere you called your variations femB and maleB, but here you seem to use a 2 and-” Shhh, bby. Don’t bring logic into this.

Problems

As you may be able to tell from the previews, there are various clipping issues with these. Especially when it comes to hands/shoulders/waists.

I also left something of a gap between the female hands and male shoulders to allow room for my stupid, bothersome body sliders. If your guy doesn’t have manly man shoulders, her hands might hover.

They may need excessive tweaking with the alt-key. I honest to God ragequit taking previews for this like three times because they acted up. Like I said: seriously don’t download these if you’re impatient and think you might end up hating me. (Pls don’t hate me).

What Can I Do with These?

Feel free to:

• Edit them for your own use.
  • Please note that when you ‘Load .clip’ in Blender, you don’t want to load the clip to a rig you’ve already resized. It’ll turn your rig into an abomination unlike anything you’ve seen. First load the .clip, THEN resize it, then edit like a pro.
• Edit and upload to your site (please credit me).
• Make them poselist compatible.

I’d prefer if people don’t upload them without changes or claim them as their own (why would you, they’re so fucky?!), but I know nothing I say can stop anyone.

Thank you for peeking in at these and for reading my ramblings if you made it this far. As always, if you find any problems, please shout at me and I’ll do my best to fix it.

I’m sorry that these are so flawed. They have a use and they can look very nice, but it does take time and effort and I know there are plenty of poses out there which look better and aren’t as difficult. Still, you never know if anyone can use them, so here they are.
