Hi guys, another day, another photoshoot. What is it with me? Well, I’m just in that kind of mood (or procrastinating because I should be studying for exams *shrug*). This post, I guess, functions as something like an announcement post, because you see, I’ve been working on the second generation ofΒ A Monte Vista Story and I’m ready to share the first pictures, yay! πŸ˜€

The second generation is different in that I’ve already started writing it – no, I haven’t even finished the first (as of this writing, I’m about to continue writing the final chapter) and I’m already writing the second. What can I say? I felt inspired and got so obsessed with my idea for it that I began right away. Currently I’ve written around 30 pages – it’s crazy.

So I’ve also started working on the looks of the characters and that’s what we’re all going to have a look at today! Namely, I’m going to show you Carlo and Vittoria’s kids and Marta. They’re all grown up and I’ve written a little description.

Marta is as much one of the Mancini kids as Giuliano and Regina – even though she’s kept her last name as a tribute to her biological dad. Despite a difficult upbringing, she’s maintained a positive attitude. She has a talent for telling stories and is very loyal to her adopted family.

She’s decided to leave the Mancini ‘family business’ though, as she feels like she’s had enough of crime after her turbulent childhood. She’s decided to work as a private detective and in her work, she makes good use of her contacts in the underworld – she may not be a criminal, but why waste good resources?

Giuliano is the elder of the biological Mancini siblings. As a boy, he was always quiet, thoughtful, and calm, as opposed to his wilder sister. She was always the one who made wild plans, and Giulio dutifully followed her schemes. He’s become a little more assertive since, but remains a more calming presence than either of his sisters.

Like Marta, he’s decided a life of crime isn’t for him. He went to university, enjoyed it immensely, and afterwards starting working as an accountant – much to his sister’s chagrin. He has a girlfriend, Flora, whose son he considers his own.

Regina Mancini is the youngest and smallest of the siblings, but the loudest. She has a strong temper and getting her angry is usually a bad idea – that said, she’s also a cheerful young woman, who loves good food and white wine. Of the two biological siblings, she’s the one who’s most like Carlo, and she considers her dad her best friend.

Gina is a daddy’s girl in more than one way – after finishing university and finding it intolerably dull, she went back home to lead the gang with her dad. He’s training her to become his successor and she’s showing a lot of talent for it.

So, I’m extremely excited to be writing about these three. The second generation will be Regina’s – heir votes just aren’t my thing, and I’ve always wanted a girl to take over. There’ll be more on these guys – and some new characters – as we get closer to gen 2. I hope you enjoyed this little sneaky peek, as I enjoyed creating it.

A little note that I might not find much time to read and comment this weekend as I’m away for Comic Con Copenhagen, so I’ll see you when I’m back and have some time πŸ™‚

Until next time – cheers!

Wowwww, the kids grew up amazing! Marta is super cute, Giuliano is one handsome guy, and I especially love Regina, she’s just gorgeous 😍 I’m very excited to read her story, she’s seems quite confident and upbeat.
Oh my, how will Marta’s work as a detective go with her family being criminals?
I hope you have fun at Comic Con πŸ˜€

I adore these three so much and I can’t wait to introduce them. Regina is my favourite by far – she’s such a fun character to write, because she’s really relaxed and her own brand of bad ass πŸ˜€
Marta’s a private detective, so actually it meshes pretty well – her cases are really kind of boring, with her mostly watching cheating spouses and such. It’s suits her after all the craziness she’s been through πŸ˜€
Thank you for your comment <3

Oh my, the kids are all so beautiful!! 😍 Like Lila, I was going to comment on how gorgeous Regina is especially (I also looove her name btw)!
I see that deep down Marta is the rebellious one though (leaving the family business to go become a detective?! Tsk tsk tsk πŸ˜›)
I really look forward to reading the kids’ stories! And I hope you have fun this weekend! <3

I already looooove writing Regina πŸ˜€ and I can’t wait to start posting her story. Her relationship with her dad is my favourite thing.
Ha, ha, Marta is a private detective and takes on super boring is-my-wife-cheating type cases. It suits her really well because she’s been through enough excitement for a lifetime! But more on that later, of course πŸ˜€
Thank you <3 I hope it'll be as fun for you guys to read as it is for me to write.

I. Love. This. They are all so beautiful/handsome!! I think their stories are going to be amazing!

    NotJustaBook · May 5, 2018 at 3:52 pm

Thank you so much, Kym πŸ™‚ <3 I already love these three a lot and I can't wait until you all get to know them better.

      Kymber · May 5, 2018 at 6:00 pm

Ooooh! I also can’t wait! xo

They’re all very good-looking. Though Regina reminds me of Lady Carlo? Just a bit πŸ˜›
Giuliano reminds me of Waylon because of these glasses 😁 I’ve only recently developed a thing for them because of him. They look great on Giuilano, too.
So Regina will be a part of the gang? Yess, bring in more good crime stories.
Enjoy your time in Copenhagen.

Oh noooooo anything but that. Don’t make me cry, Jowita XD I think she’s way prettier. I made her before Lady Carlo ever happened so that’s why I don’t associate the two XD She doesn’t have Carlo’s mouth, at least – she has quite a few of Vittoria’s features.
I’ve always liked glasses (and not just because I wear them myself) πŸ˜› I think it suits both Waylon and Giulio, too!
And yesss, more crime and it’s going to be a pretty big focus. She’s a lot like Carlo in that she enjoys a life of crime!
    Thank you, Jowita <3

      loladiamond01 · May 5, 2018 at 5:45 pm

I just meant that there’s some similarity between her and Carlo. But don’t worry, he is her father after all XD
I haven’t had many Sims with glasses. I’ve never worn them either and always forget about them as accessories load too long.
      More crime sounds exciting!

        NotJustaBook · May 6, 2018 at 3:40 am

Ha, ha, true, they do have some similarities – thankfully, she has all the good features of her parents πŸ˜€
The worst part about glasses (especially for women) is they clip into hair and stuff, so that’s why sometimes Vittoria doesn’t wear hers (that and sometimes it would make sense for her to be wearing contacts instead, such as for their wedding, and for kicking ass).
        πŸ˜€

I love this!! I am so excited to see that you are continuing the story. Bring on more family crime drama!!!
We haven’t seen much of the children, so I can’t wait to read more about them. Regina has Carlo’s looks, but Vittoria’s fighting spirit!! πŸ™‚

    NotJustaBook · May 7, 2018 at 11:40 am

Thank you <3 <3 I'm so excited to share it. I think what I've written so far is pretty good, but we'll have to wait and see πŸ˜€
I'm so excited about all of them, but particularly Gina – as you said, she's a good blend of her parents and a true daddy's girl. She's a joy to write πŸ˜€

freja64 · May 16, 2018 at 5:58 am

These siblings promises some fun and interesting reading! I love the way you’ve described them – all so different! I haven’t get started on generation one yet, but I can’t wait to hear more three! πŸ™‚

    NotJustaBook · May 16, 2018 at 4:50 pm

Thank you πŸ™‚ I really enjoy these three, perhaps particularly Gina, but she IS my heir, so that makes sense πŸ™‚ I hope you’ll enjoy reading once you get there!

      freja64 · May 16, 2018 at 8:13 pm

      You bet I will! πŸ™‚

amyqueen · May 27, 2018 at 11:49 pm

Wow, Marta looks amazing! So do the siblings πŸ˜€ I was actually curious as to who they took after more since the few times we saw them in the story as kids it’s hard to tell. They are both a fair blend of both. I like how you shared their stories~ I would’ve thought Carlo wouldn’t want his family to be involved in his world of crime since he wanted to shield his brother from it, but I have to say I’m looking forward to Gina’s relationship with him and how she’ll be as a criminal. I’m also interested in seeing how Vittoria would be as a mother since she doesn’t strike me as the motherly type despite her instinct to protect them at all cost. Can’t wait to start reading their gen!
