Photo Shoot | OC Photo Challenge #4-#6

Hi guys!

I know I posted yesterday, but I couldn’t help myself – I’m back today with the next part of my OC Photo Challenge. I wrote a little bit about the challenge itself in the last post, so if you haven’t, you might want to read about it. I already had a lot of fun with the first three entries but for this one, I have to tell you – I truly got out of hand and had absolutely insane amounts of fun with both making sets and editing. So, let’s get to it!

#4 – As a Child

I admit, I didn’t look forward to doing this one too much, because I generally don’t do much with children in my game, but once I got started, I went a little crazy with building a nice set and editing and well… you can see the result here.

I know, nothing in the challenge said to include a parent but come on? How could I resist a cute daddy-daughter photo? πŸ™‚

#5 – As a Teenager

These photos actually surprised me. At first I considered doing a cute teen room, but in the end I just sort of played around with grass, plants, and old ruins and ended up with what you see here.

Since we’ve already seen teenage Gina in part one and three, I imagined where these photos would fit in the grand scheme of things. I imagine these photos would be from before she met Enzo and before the whole mess with Doriano. It’s a simpler, sweet, more innocent version of her. Well, as innocent as Gina can be! Because I enjoyed the set so much, I picked out a few extra pictures from it.

#6 – With Their Best Friend

Okay, real talk: ts3 has actively been fighting me for several days. That’s why it took me a while to get the pictures you see below. I tried making an awesome citry street set which I thought would suit Lotta and Gina well, but this was apparently a cursed idea. I had crash after crash and it’s honestly kind of unusual. I know ts3 is a dumpster fire, but I’ve never actually had as many issues as some players do. Well, guess this was the game trying to even the score or something. Anyway, I decided I had better do something else, so I tore down the set… and the game crashed even while I was tearing it down. Like I said: Cursed. After I made an entirely new save, I ended up with the pictures below and honestly, I do think it’s for the better.

For these, I went light on the editing. I tried going a little stronger with some effects for it, but in the end it just seemed like a shame. All I did was lighten them up, add a little glow and adjust the lighting in some of them. The set was inspired by a chain of Danish coffee shops. They have this sort of industrial look with raw wood and metal fittings but also lots of green plants and faux fur throws. I love it so much! And because I also fell in love with this set, have a few more pics from it:

Thank You For Looking!

I hope you enjoyed checking out what I spend waaaay too much time on lately, lol. πŸ™‚ This is seriously addictive fun and I hope it’s a least a little fun to be looking at them as well. I hope everyone’s having a good Sunday and I’ll be seeing you guys in the next post.

Cheers!

  1. Your photos are so beautiful and always a joy to look at! I have to say, I admire your patience with this hell of a game, too! Hope the issues stop soon, it must be super annoying.

    1. Thank you, friend. πŸ˜€ <3
Ha, ha, I honestly sometimes just sit there, asking myself why I bother with this freaking game. It can be sooo finicky! Thankfully, I don't deal with these problems most of the time. I think I was just cursed for a couple of days, lol. πŸ˜€
      Again, thank you, Jowita! πŸ™‚

    1. Aaw, thank you so much, Audrey. I have a lot of fun making them. πŸ™‚
I love daddy-daughter pictures as well. πŸ™‚ Thank you for your kind words. <3

  2. These are absolutely stunning! Every post amazes me more and more! Thank you for sharing your hard work and creativity, and so sorry to hear about the crashes. This game is like some kind of two-faced God, I think, sometimes offering joy, satisfaction, entertainment, creative opportunities, links to community, etc; at others, pure frustration.

    1. Thank you so much. Your kind words mean a lot, truly. πŸ™‚ I’m so glad to have a place to share. πŸ™‚ <3
God yes, that's so true. I'm generally fairly lucky with my game, I feel, because I have fewer troubles than most. But when the game does act up, it *really* acts up! Sometimes I don't know why I bother, lol. πŸ˜›
Thank you for the sweet comment! πŸ™‚

  3. I’m so sorry it took me so long to comment! 😭

I will never mind a photo with Carlo in it, so that was a good call πŸ˜‰ 😍 And I love the knee scratch on child Gina, what an adorable little detail! <3
    This was great! πŸ˜€

    1. It’s okay dear – I’m happy to hear from you when you have the time. <3
Thank you so much! πŸ™‚ I had such an incredible time taking these pictures, you wouldn't believe! Or maybe you would, lol. πŸ˜€
He, he, he, I didn't think you'd mind! <3 And isn't it just adorable? 110% got scrapes and bruises all the time. Half the time because she climbed trees and buildings and the other half because she got into fights, lol. πŸ˜€
Thank you so much for your comment. πŸ˜€ <3
